FAITH Co-ops (Thursdays 8/17/17 - 4/26/18)
Below are the co-ops for members of CHEC that meet on Thursdays. These co-ops ask that every mom be present and assist in the teaching or in service in some other way. There are many opportunities to help (assist with teaching, work in the nursery, monitor study hall, etc.). For details on a specific class please use the contact form above to request information.
Co-op & Coordinator
Clubs and Co-ops are only limited by YOUR imagination! If you are interested in something, chances are someone else is, too. Members are welcome at any time to coordinate a class, club, or co-op, as they feel led. Examples of co-ops offered in the past --
Creative Arts Studio
Meets Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 in Camden
Grades: 6-12 (with an option for high school credit.)
Cost: $15 per month

Students will create with a variety of media such as photography, acrylic and watercolor paint, pastel, mixed media, charcoal and others. Techniques explored may include pointillism, anime and cartooning, sketching, and more.
Most supplies are provided, but students will need to bring in some items for
Boys Club & Girls Club 2017-18
Who: Kindergarten through 5th grade
When: 2nd Thursday of the month
Time: 1:00pm -3:00pm
Cost: $45 per child
*This is a drop off class. Parents are required to sign up to bring snacks or drinks to 2 meetings during the year.
Boys Club - American Innovation: Invention and Ideas Thant Changed History
Join us for Boys Club where we’ll be learning about spies, bombs, flight and more! We’ll be taking a look at 7 times when American ideas changed history. Boys will make a craft, learn about the time period, and investigate the people that made it happen.
Girls Club - All 4 One
Walking through history, slavery to post-Civil War, while incorporating relationship and team-building skills...because a better community starts with US!
Moms Book Club 2017-18
The Moms Book Club meets roughly monthly to fellowship and discussion at the home of Danielle J.
Mark your calendars this Fall for:
Friday, September 8 @7: Chat about and watch Agatha Christie’s “4:50 for Paddington.” (There are currently 12 available copies through the SC Lends program at the library)
Watch the loop for an opportunity to go see “Murder on the Orient Express” when it hits theaters in early November.
Our final book to round out the fall and take us into winter will be, “The Woman in White” by Wilkie Collins.
General Interest 4H Club
Even if your kid is a member of a special interest club (rabbit, robotics, horses, etc.) they can join! We will be focusing on community service projects and supporting all areas of 4H.
